IndianHealthPulse.com — Terms of Service
Effective date: 31 October 2026. Last updated: 31 October 2026.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
IndianHealthPulse.com (“IndianHealthPulse,” “Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Social Pulse Inc, a Corporation registered in the State of Oregon, USA, with its principal address at Portland, OR 97236, USA. Our website is https://indianhealthpulse.com. “You” means a visitor, account holder, healthcare professional, authorised representative, contributor, or other user.
Support: support@indianhealthpulse.com
IndianHealthPulse is a privately operated platform. No government, regulator, professional council, or healthcare institution endorses it merely because that organisation is mentioned or linked.
2. Scope and acceptance
These Terms govern use of the Platform and the services we actually make available. Please read them with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, the community and review rules in section 14 below, and any applicable booking, cancellation, or subscription terms displayed before a transaction.
Where an account or transaction requires acceptance, we will present these Terms and request your affirmative agreement. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the relevant service. Nothing in these Terms overrides rights or remedies that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
Feature-specific terms may add requirements for that feature. They will be disclosed before use. Any conflict will be resolved by applying mandatory law first and the specifically disclosed terms to the feature they cover; those terms cannot silently remove protections expressly promised here.
3. What the Platform provides
Our purpose is to make health education more understandable and accessible, including information about conditions, medical tests, procedures, prevention, and organised medical records. Depending on availability, the Platform may also offer multilingual articles, audio, educational AI assistance, professional or facility directories, enquiries, appointment requests, professional updates, and user contributions.
A description of a planned feature does not mean it is available. Only enabled services with their accompanying notices may be used. Unless expressly identified otherwise for a particular service, we provide information and technology rather than operate a hospital, laboratory, pharmacy, or medical practice.
4. Health education is not individual medical care
Articles, videos, illustrations, checklists, translations, audio, news, search results, and general responses are for education. They do not establish a diagnosis, prescribe treatment, interpret a result for your individual circumstances, or replace assessment by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Reading content, using an educational assistant, posting a question, or requesting an appointment does not by itself create a clinician–patient relationship. If a separately identified clinician accepts a clinical consultation, that professional’s duties and applicable law govern the care they provide.
Do not start, stop, or change prescribed treatment solely because of Platform content. Screening and testing depend on the person’s circumstances; a list of tests is not a recommendation that everyone should undergo them. Clinical decisions require consideration of history, symptoms, examination, and other relevant information.
Healthcare professionals using our content remain responsible for independent professional judgment and checking current authoritative guidance. Unless a specific course expressly states its recognised accreditation, educational articles or updates do not carry formal continuing-education credit.
5. Emergencies
The Platform, its forms, educational assistants, email, and ordinary WhatsApp enquiries are not emergency-response services and may not be monitored continuously. For a medical emergency, seek immediate help through local emergency services or the nearest appropriate emergency department. Do not wait for a Platform response.
6. Eligibility, minors, and caregivers
You must be at least 18 and legally capable of contracting to create an independent account or enter a paid transaction. Educational material may be viewed by younger readers with appropriate adult guidance; age-sensitive content may be restricted.
A parent, lawful guardian, or appropriately authorised caregiver may use supported services for another person only within their authority and the relevant service’s rules. Where consent or verification is required for a child or another represented person, it must be obtained through the applicable process. Do not misrepresent your age, identity, or authority.
Access to another adult’s medical information requires an appropriate basis; a family relationship alone does not automatically authorise access. We may request proportionate evidence of authority when necessary.
7. Accounts and communications
Provide accurate account details, keep them reasonably current, and protect login credentials, devices, and verification codes. Do not share an account to bypass staff permissions or access someone else’s information. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity you authorise, subject to applicable law; this clause does not make you automatically liable for every unauthorised act.
Where we offer mobile verification, verification establishes control of that number at that time. It does not verify medical qualifications or ownership of a clinic. Account email and website fields may be optional as shown in the form; a particular paid or regulated service may require separately disclosed information.
We may send necessary account, security, verification, booking, and service notices through the channels described in the Privacy Policy. Promotional communications require the applicable lawful basis and choices. Marketing permission is separate from acceptance of these Terms and can be withdrawn through the stated route.
8. AI assistance, translation, and accessibility tools
AI may assist drafting, summarisation, translation, organisation, and discovery of information. AI outputs can contain mistakes, omissions, outdated material, or invented statements. An AI response is not a professional opinion merely because it sounds confident or uses medical terminology.
Use educational AI to understand general concepts and prepare questions, not to make urgent or personalised treatment decisions. Follow the assistant’s notices about permitted inputs. Do not enter identifiable patient records or other sensitive information into a general-purpose prompt box unless the specific feature expressly supports that use and provides the relevant privacy information.
Translations and text-to-speech may change meaning or pronunciation. Check important instructions, dosages, test preparation, and clinical wording with the treating professional. Where interpretations differ, seek clarification rather than choosing whichever wording seems convenient.
A medical-review label applies only to the content and version identified. We do not imply that every AI-generated response, translation, or community post has been reviewed by a clinician. Required disclosures and provenance labels for synthetic content must not be removed or misrepresented.
9. Healthcare professional and facility listings
Professionals and authorised representatives must provide accurate identities, qualifications, registration information, affiliations, locations, contact permissions, specialisations, and services. Claiming a profile requires authority; a representative must have the professional’s permission. Keep registration status, restrictions, fees, and availability current.
Professional titles and services must reflect applicable qualifications, registration, jurisdiction, and scope. Listing on IndianHealthPulse is not a government registration, practice licence, accreditation, or permission to prescribe. Different professions and systems of medicine have different requirements.
We may review credentials, request appropriate evidence, check authoritative sources, correct classifications, decline unsupported claims, or suspend a listing while concerns are examined. Verification badges identify the check performed and, where shown, its date. They do not guarantee competence, treatment outcomes, or that every credential or facility statement has been verified.
Directory information may be supplied by professionals, facilities, contributors, or identified public sources and can become outdated. Users should confirm suitability, registration, fees, location, and availability directly. Report inaccurate or unclaimed listings through the correction or grievance route. We remain responsible for obligations the law places on us.
10. Enquiries, bookings, WhatsApp, and clinical consultations
A submitted enquiry or appointment request is not a confirmed appointment until acceptance is communicated through the stated process. Professionals and facilities control their availability unless the booking screen expressly states otherwise. Disclosed cancellation and rescheduling rules apply, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
A phone or WhatsApp button may open an external service. A click does not prove a message was received, read, or answered. Check the recipient before sending information and avoid sharing sensitive records through unverified contacts or public groups.
Clinical teleconsultations, if enabled, are provided by the identified eligible professional under the applicable professional rules and separately displayed service terms. Identity, consent, patient location, professional jurisdiction, privacy arrangements, suitability, and record-keeping must be addressed through that service. Acceptance of these general Terms is not a substitute for required clinical consent.
The professional may require an in-person examination or decline remote care where it is unsuitable. Prescribing and referrals remain subject to professional judgment and applicable restrictions. A platform disclaimer does not excuse our own statutory duties when facilitating a clinical service.
11. Medical records and private information
We encourage users to keep organised copies of their own medical records. General educational or directory functions do not require public disclosure of those records. Do not upload prescriptions, laboratory reports, patient photographs, or medical histories into public comments, reviews, or profile galleries.
If a separately identified record-sharing or vault feature is offered, its specific notice will explain whether information stays on your device, is backed up, passes through a server, or is accessible to service providers. Do not assume that “device-based” means information can never leave the device, or that a directory account includes secure medical storage.
For device-controlled records, keep appropriate encrypted backups and recovery arrangements. For shared files, confirm the recipient and permissions. Revoking a sharing link cannot retrieve copies already downloaded. Keep original reports because extracted text, charts, and AI summaries may contain errors.
Prior records can help continuity of care but do not prevent clinically necessary repeat tests. We do not promise that keeping digital records will eliminate testing or reduce costs in every case. Any enabled records service remains subject to our security and other legal obligations.
12. Privacy and data choices
Our Privacy Policy explains the personal data we collect, purposes, recipients and service providers, retention, security arrangements, international processing where relevant, and available requests or choices. These Terms are not blanket consent for unrelated processing, marketing, disclosure of health data, AI-model training, or publication across websites.
Where consent is required, it will be sought through an appropriate, purpose-specific notice and mechanism. Withdrawal, correction, deletion, access, grievance, and other requests will be handled as applicable law and the relevant notice require. Necessary legal retention, dispute preservation, or security obligations may limit immediate deletion; any such retention must have an appropriate basis.
We apply the Indian information-technology, privacy, and data-protection requirements that are applicable and in force for the activity, including commencement and transition provisions. Mention of a law does not imply every provision applies to every feature at the same time.
13. Your contributions and permissions
You retain ownership of content you lawfully contribute. For content you deliberately submit for public publication, such as an article, professional biography, or approved photograph, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and make accessibility or language versions as reasonably necessary for the selected Platform service. Our service providers may process it only as needed for that purpose.
This permission does not transfer ownership or authorise unrelated resale, private-document publication, or unrestricted AI-model training. Cross-publication to sister sites requires the relevant disclosed choice or permission. Permission for public profile media does not cover private qualification evidence or patient records.
You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions, including permissions from identifiable people where required. Do not submit material belonging to others without authority. Public content may be copied by third parties or cached outside our control; report misuse so we can consider appropriate action.
You may request withdrawal of public content through the account or support route. We will handle removal subject to applicable duties, reasonable technical processing, legitimate dispute preservation, and the Privacy Policy. Continued public use after withdrawal requires an appropriate basis.
14. Reviews, discussions, and community conduct
Reviews must reflect a genuine relevant experience and distinguish opinion from factual claims. Do not invent appointments, purchase or coordinate misleading reviews, impersonate patients, threaten providers for benefits, or post confidential information about another person. Providers must not publish patient information in replies or use fabricated testimonials.
We may moderate, label, temporarily restrict, or remove content for documented violations, privacy concerns, safety issues, or lawful requirements. A negative opinion is not, by itself, a reason for removal. Users and providers may report concerns or challenge moderation through the grievance process.
External review links do not mean we have independently validated every review. A verification label must explain what it establishes; it does not certify the truth of every statement or a clinical outcome.
15. Prohibited uses
Do not use the Platform to impersonate anyone; submit forged qualifications or medical documents; make unlawful health claims; facilitate unlicensed services; harass, defame, discriminate, or unlawfully disclose personal information; exploit or endanger children; publish unlawful intimate imagery; or create deceptive synthetic identities, endorsements, or events.
Do not upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, evade security controls, harvest private contacts, spam users, manipulate rankings or reviews, or interfere with availability. Do not scrape or reuse content in breach of access controls, intellectual-property rights, privacy obligations, or applicable law. Legitimate rights to quote, report, or otherwise use material under law are preserved.
16. Editorial content, advertisements, and ranking
Educational information, sponsored material, and advertisements should be distinguishable. A paid placement is not a clinical recommendation or verification of quality. Relevant commercial relationships and sponsored listings will be identified as required.
Where we provide ranked search or recommendations, an accessible explanation will identify the principal factors relevant to that feature and any paid influence as applicable. We do not promise that rankings identify the “best” practitioner for an individual patient.
Health-related advertising, endorsements, and professional promotions must comply with applicable law and professional restrictions. We may decline misleading claims, prohibited promotions, or unsupported treatment guarantees. Advertising revenue does not relieve us or advertisers of applicable responsibilities.
17. Fees, payments, cancellation, and refunds
Browsing is free unless a feature clearly states otherwise. Before a paid purchase, the checkout must identify the service provider/seller, deliverables, price and currency, applicable taxes, platform charges, payment schedule, cancellation terms, refund process, and any subscription renewal. No paid obligation is created merely by submitting a free professional profile.
Paid subscriptions and automatic renewal require the relevant affirmative agreement and a clearly described cancellation route. We will not treat preselected marketing or payment options as consent. Provider fees and our fees must be distinguished where both apply.
A service-specific refund policy cannot remove statutory remedies for deficient services, unfair trade practices, or other legally protected claims. If we cancel or fail to provide a paid Platform service, we will address refunds or other remedies as the applicable terms and law require.
Payment processing may involve an identified third-party provider. Do not send card PINs, banking passwords, or payment OTPs to our staff. Payment-provider terms apply to their services without excluding our own responsibilities.
18. Third-party services and network websites
Links to laboratories, clinics, professional registers, external news, maps, payment systems, WhatsApp, and other services are provided for their stated purpose. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement or a promise of availability.
SocialPulse sister sites may have separate operators, terms, accounts, or processing arrangements. A shared brand or login does not automatically authorise sharing your private records or publishing your professional profile everywhere. Applicable choices and notices must explain those uses.
19. Intellectual property and permitted reading
Platform branding, software, design, and editorial content are owned by us or relevant rights holders. You may view and share links for lawful personal, educational, or professional reference. Limited quotation or other lawful uses remain permitted under applicable law.
Except as permitted by law or an express licence, do not reproduce substantial content commercially, misrepresent authorship, remove attribution, or use our branding to imply endorsement. Contributor ownership and licences are addressed separately above.
20. Availability, corrections, and service changes
We aim to provide useful and accessible services, but maintenance, network problems, security incidents, and third-party outages may affect access. Except where a specific promise or law requires otherwise, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every article, translation, listing, or response is error-free.
Report material errors to support@indianhealthpulse.com, identifying the page and concern. We may correct or withdraw content and update features. Material changes to a paid service will be handled with appropriate notice and remedies where required; these Terms do not permit us to retain payment for an undelivered service without addressing your rights.
21. Suspension and account closure
We may restrict content or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a breach, credible fraud, unauthorised practice claims, safety or security concerns, or legal obligations. Where lawful and practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to respond; urgent restrictions may precede notice.
You may stop using the Platform and request account closure through email to support@indianhealthpulse.com. Closure, removal, refund, and data requests are handled under the applicable policies and law. We may retain necessary records for valid legal, security, or dispute purposes rather than delete them indiscriminately.
22. Responsibility and limits of liability
We are responsible for our own obligations under applicable law. Healthcare professionals and third-party providers are responsible for the services they provide, without excluding any responsibility the law places on us for our own conduct or role in a transaction.
To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee a particular diagnosis, treatment outcome, provider response, financial saving, or commercial result from using educational or directory features. Any exclusion of indirect or consequential loss applies only where lawful and appropriate to the circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence causing death or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited, unlawful data handling, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Consumer remedies and other mandatory statutory rights remain available. You do not waive them by using the Platform.
23. Complaints, grievances, and appeals
Send service, content, privacy, impersonation, listing, or account complaints to support@indianhealthpulse.com. Include relevant page links or application/transaction references and a description of the issue. Provide only the personal information needed to assess it; do not publish medical records in a complaint thread.
Our general complaint-handling target is acknowledgement within 24 hours and resolution within seven days. Where applicable law requires a different or shorter action deadline, including urgent content, privacy, or lawful takedown action, we will follow that requirement. These targets do not extend statutory deadlines or replace required procedures.
We will communicate the outcome and any applicable review or escalation route. If eligible under the applicable intermediary rules, you may use the statutory Grievance Appellate Committee route. Consumer authorities, courts, regulators, and any applicable data-protection grievance processes remain available according to law; contacting us first is not a compulsory waiver or barrier to those remedies.
24. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory protections that may apply to a user or transaction. We encourage good-faith discussion of concerns, but you are not required to waive a statutory remedy or accept compulsory private arbitration under these Terms.
Disputes may be brought before courts, consumer commissions, or other competent authorities having jurisdiction under applicable law. We do not require consumers to litigate exclusively in a distant city or exclude a forum that the law makes available to them.
25. Changes and general provisions
We will publish updated Terms with an effective date and notify account holders of material changes through an appropriate channel. Where fresh acceptance or consent is required, we will request it. Changes will not retrospectively reduce accrued statutory rights or alter a completed transaction without a lawful basis.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent lawful. Failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive it. Any transfer of the service must preserve applicable user rights and be accompanied by the notices or choices required by law.
Translations may be provided for accessibility. We will work to correct material inconsistencies; no language-precedence provision limits mandatory language, disclosure, or consumer protections. Ask for clarification if wording is unclear.
